Land use, Land cover Classification/ Ground Truthing

 In this exciting week of my GIS adventures, I got to learn about LULC Classification and Ground Truthing. Using an arial photograph I used polygons to group areas of the same classification together. Then coded them at a level 2 classification. Once the entire arial photograph was completely classified I then use ArcGIS pro to select 30 random points for ground truthing. I used google maps to verify that my classification and coding was accurate. The overall accuracy of the 30 points was 87%.
